12 Feb Marking a Milestone: Topping Out at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel Expansion
This week, BBM Structural joined in celebrating a significant milestone for the AdventHealth Wesley Chapel Expansion with a wall signing and topping-out ceremony! This exciting project will increase the hospital’s licensed bed capacity from 169 to 193, with space for future growth to meet the evolving needs of the Pasco County community.
The expansion includes new operating rooms, endoscopy suites, pre- and post-procedure beds, and advanced imaging facilities. The project also features a two-story south courtyard infill and a three-story vertical expansion of the north wing, adding critical space for patient care.
Bora Erbilen, Karen Petersen, and Maggie Kirk of BBM Structural attended the event, enjoying a scrumptious Mission BBQ lunch and connecting with colleagues. Bora and Maggie proudly signed the wall, marking BBM’s contribution to this transformative project.
With Hunton Brady as the architects and Batson-Cook Construction leading the build, the six-story expansion continues to take shape. And yes—we climbed those stairs to the 5th floor (but took the elevator back down)!
The new addition is scheduled to open later this year, further strengthening AdventHealth Wesley Chapel’s ability to provide top-tier care to the community. BBM Structural is honored to be part of this incredible project!
