BBM Structural Stands Behind What We Build – On and Off the Course

At BBM Structural, true partnership goes beyond the job site. When our clients and communities come together for meaningful causes, we’re proud to stand alongside them — whether that means designing buildings that educate and heal, or teeing off to raise vital funds for those same missions.

This spring, our team had the opportunity to support two incredible golf tournaments, each aligned with BBM’s commitment to creating structural solutions for sectors that shape lives: education and healthcare.

Supporting Education at the Seminole “FORE” Golf Tournament

On April 29, BBM Structural proudly participated in the Seminole County Public Schools Golf ‘FORE’ Education Tournament at The Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes. Representing BBM were Principals Luis Bedoya and Ariel Neris, joined by Rafael Brea of Zyscovich Architects and Gabe Bedoya, a UCF engineering student, and son of Luis Bedoya.

For Luis and Gabe, the day was especially meaningful. They were a father and son who shared not just a love of golf but also a passion for building stronger communities through education. It was a day of fun, connection, and purpose—and a reminder of why we do what we do.

The tournament benefits the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools, which supports various programs designed to enrich student lives, from classroom innovation to career preparation.

With a robust portfolio of educational projects throughout Central Florida, BBM Structural is deeply invested in helping create environments where students can grow, thrive, and succeed. Events like these are a powerful way to extend that mission beyond design and directly into the heart of the community.

Championing Heart Health at the AdventHealth Golf Classic

Just days later, BBM participated in the AdventHealth Golf Classic, held May 2 at Reunion Resort & Golf Club and hosted by the AdventHealth Foundation. President Bora Erbilen, Principal Ariel Neris, Associate Nathan Morrow, and Project Manager Roberto Cintron represented BBM on the course.

As one of the event’s many proud sponsors, BBM directed its support specifically toward AdventHealth’s Heart, Lung & Vascular Institute (HLVI) — and more precisely, its High Performing Cardiology & Heart Surgery Program, a cause that is near and dear to our hearts.

Cardiovascular health isn’t just a community issue — it’s a personal one for our team. Some of BBM’s own staff live with heart conditions, which makes our continued advocacy for heart health, including past participation in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk, all the more meaningful.

As engineers who design the spaces where healing happens, we’re proud to contribute in any way we can to the life-saving work that institutions like AdventHealth lead every day.

A Shared Commitment to What Matters Most

Though each tournament supported a different mission—one focused on education, the other on health—both reflected a core value at BBM Structural: standing behind the institutions and communities we serve. Whether it’s a school shaping young minds or a hospital saving lives, our work doesn’t stop at structural design. It continues in the relationships we build and the causes we support.

From a father and son sharing a round in support of future students to colleagues rallying around heart health for our Central Florida neighbors, these moments reaffirm why we do what we do. We’re proud to partner with clients like Seminole County Public Schools and AdventHealth, and we look forward to continuing to build with purpose — and give back with heart.
