22 Jul BBM Structural Returns to the FEFPA Summer Conference
The BBM Structural team recently attended the 2026 Florida Educational Facilities Planners’ Association (FEFPA) Summer Conference in Boca Raton, joining school districts, architects, engineers, facility planners, and construction professionals from across Florida for several days of learning, collaboration, and relationship building focused on the future of educational facilities.
As a Silver Sponsor, BBM welcomed attendees throughout the week at Booth 913. In celebration of the conference leading up to Independence Day, the team embraced a patriotic theme with festive booth décor, red, white, and blue attire, sweet treats, and BBM giveaways that helped create a welcoming place to connect with clients, partners, and new industry contacts.
The conference also provided valuable opportunities to reconnect with many of the professionals who collaborate with BBM on K-12 projects throughout Florida. Throughout the week, team members enjoyed gathering with friends and colleagues from organizations including Wharton-Smith, Corgan, Lake County Schools, Orange County Public Schools, Votum Construction, DLR Group, CPPI, TLC Engineering Solutions, HuntonBrady Architects, and others during dinners and social events held around Boca Raton.
One of the things that makes the FEFPA Summer Conference unique is the opportunity to spend time together outside the conference sessions. Throughout the week, colleagues gathered over dinner, relaxed by the pool, and caught up with friends and their families. Those informal moments are part of what makes the conference special. They strengthen relationships that carry over into future projects and reflect the close-knit nature of Florida’s educational design and construction community.
For BBM, these connections are an important part of the work. Successful K-12 projects are built through collaboration between school districts, architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants. Conferences like FEFPA provide an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss industry trends, and continue building the relationships that support successful projects throughout the state.
Events like FEFPA serve as a reminder that great projects are built on strong relationships. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the BBM booth, joined us throughout the week, or simply took a moment to catch up. We appreciate being part of such a connected professional community and look forward to continuing those relationships throughout the year.
