BBM Walks (and Runs!) with Purpose at the AdventHealth Corporate 5k

Last night, BBM Structural laced up and joined thousands of local professionals in Downtown Orlando for the AdventHealth Corporate 5k — a fun and meaningful evening that marked BBM’s first time participating in this community-driven event.

Principal Luis Bedoya led Team BBM, which also included Dennis Testerman, Caroline Wells, David Baker, and Aslyn Banegas, who walked alongside our friends from DLR Group. While some stormy skies tried to sneak in, the team got their steps (and smiles) in before the rain hit—a win in our book!

More than just a race, the Corporate 5k is an annual tradition that unites companies across the city in the spirit of health and giving. Businesses and nonprofits come together to promote wellness, enjoy friendly competition, and raise vital support for causes that strengthen our Central Florida community.

Giving Back with Every Step

Proceeds from the event benefit two incredible organizations:

  • Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, which creates food boxes that feed a family of four for an entire week

  • Track Shack Youth Foundation, which supports youth sports and fitness programs across the region

Participants were also encouraged to donate food throughout race week, helping provide much-needed meals for families across Central Florida. After the race, Luis Bedoya received the exciting news: over 110,000 meals were raised for Second Harvest Food Bank!

A New Tradition of Impact

BBM’s commitment to community isn’t just in concrete and steel — it’s in the causes we champion and the people we walk beside. We’re proud to have joined the AdventHealth Corporate 5k and look forward to turning this impactful event into a new BBM tradition.
