Serving Up Support: BBM Sponsors OFA’s Pickleball Night

BBM Structural served as Beverage Sponsor for the Orlando Foundation for Architecture’s (OFA) recent Pickleball Night at the Winter Park Racquet Club. This fun, casual evening blended community, design, and a little friendly competition.

Principal Luis Bedoya, Associate Karen Petersen, Senior Project Engineer Maggie Kirk, Project Manager Roberto Cintron, Intern David Villarraga, and Project Engineers Caroline Wells and Richard Acosta represented BBM at the event. While Roberto, Caroline, and David hit the courts, the rest of the team brought their energy from the sidelines, cheering them on throughout the matches.

With all skill levels welcome and an instructor on site, the event encouraged playful learning and lighthearted rivalry, making it easy for everyone to join in. In the end, it wasn’t about who won—it was about showing up, having fun, and supporting a meaningful cause.

OFA’s mission—promoting appreciation of the built environment, preserving architectural heritage, encouraging sustainability, supporting architectural education, and championing diversity—is one we’re proud to stand behind.

Whether designing safe and resilient structures or backing organizations that elevate our industry, BBM is committed to giving back in ways that make a lasting impact.
