Location:
Boca Raton, FL
Project Scope:
BBM Structural provided structural engineering services for the Value Store It Storage Facility in Boca Raton, Florida. The project includes a two-story, 85,000-square-foot limited-access main storage building, along with three one-story drive-up storage buildings totaling an additional 12,200 square feet. All structures were constructed using tilt-up concrete wall systems.
The design emphasized efficient panel layouts and consistent structural framing to support storage access, load-bearing requirements, and site constraints. Shallow foundations and tilt-up panels were coordinated for cost-effective construction and long-term durability.
The facility was named a 2025 Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) Tilt-Up Achievement Award Winner, recognizing it as one of the industry’s top-performing tilt-up projects. As part of this honor, the project will be published in Tilt-Up Today magazine and formally recognized during the Tilt-Up Awards Gala at the 2025 TCA Convention and Expo in Nashville on October 1st.
