Location:
Lake County, FL
Project Scope:
BBM Structural provided structural engineering services for Minneola Horizon Academy, a new K–8 campus in Lake County designed to support the district’s growing student population. The $65 million facility was funded through impact fees generated by new residential development.
The campus was designed to accommodate flexible learning environments that support a STEAM-focused curriculum centered on aviation, aerospace, and engineering. Structural systems were engineered to support classroom buildings and shared learning spaces while meeting the durability and performance standards required for modern educational facilities.
Minneola Horizon Academy also benefits from the district’s partnership with Space Florida, connecting students to pathways in coding, drone technology, and engineering design. BBM is proud to support the delivery of resilient, forward-looking educational environments for Lake County Schools.
