BBM Structural Engineers, Inc. seeks Construction Administrator for it’s Maitland, FL office.
Requires a Bachelor degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field.
Job Duties:
- Review all construction contract documents for standards, compliance, and legally required specifications
- Review submittals and shop drawings from the general contractor and ensure that they meet the requirements of the construction documents. Report any conflicts between the submittals and shop drawings and the construction documents
- With the collaboration of the engineer, draft sketches using AutoCad or Revit and respond to clarifications and Requests for Information (RFIs) from the contractor
- Make local site visits to observe the construction work and to draft field observation reports
- Attend pre-construction meetings before construction projects begin
- At the end of the project, draft “as-built” drawings to include any updates made to our structural drawings to reflect the changes or modifications that took place during construction.
