Associate / Senior Project Manager
Nathan is a Senior Project Manager at BBM and has over 17 years of experience in structural design, detailing and project management. He is a highly skilled structural engineer specializing in concrete, steel, masonry and wood design for new construction and renovation. His experience includes design of projects from schematic design through construction administration. He is experienced in client coordination, design of structural components, and management of the internal design team. He takes pride in his ability to proactively lead clients to constructable designs while maintaining the architectural intent. His attention to detail helps to address challenges before they develop into potential design issues.
Prior to joining BBM, Nathan worked for several national structural design firms and managed projects in the healthcare, entertainment, hospitality, commercial, and themed environments. His duties included overseeing the internal design team to maintain schedule, budget and completion of deliverables; design and detailing of the structure, coordination with other trades through all phases; and overseeing projects during the construction administration phase.
Nathan is well-versed in concrete, steel, masonry, and post-tensioned design for both new construction and renovation projects. He is a team player and takes responsibility in coordinating with clients and other members of the design team, leads the design of the structural system and components, and ably manages the internal design team in his two years with BBM.
