Karen Petersen

Associate, Director of Marketing & Business Development

Karen is an Associate at BBM and directs the Marketing and Business Development efforts of the firm.  She has worked in the A/E industry since 1989 and has been a member of SMPS (Society for Marketing Professional Services) since 2001, having served as Treasurer and Secretary for several years.  She was selected as Member of the Year for 2014-2015.

 

Karen has used her experience and natural talents to greatly contribute to the firm’s structural leadership and continued growth and expansion in the marketplace. With her resilient attitude and forward-motion approach, she has been enhancing the BBM workplace environment for over 20 years and is a true asset to the team.

 

Karen is owned by Riley, BBM’s unofficial mascot, a standard poodle who is a Registered Emotional Support Animal and a Certified Therapy Dog through the national association of Alliance of Therapy Dogs (ATD).  Together with the local Zen Dogs Therapy Network, they make official therapy visits to nursing homes, hospitals, and any other facilities and community events with a need for love, smiles, and positivity.
