Vice-President
Mr. Middlebrooks has more than 43 years of structural engineering design, construction and project management experience. He has been with BBM for over 34 years and is responsible for directing the structural design, quality assurance, and coordination and production efforts from conceptual design through construction administration in BBM’s South Florida office located in Boca Raton.
Joel has an extensive design background. His projects include multi-story mixed-use residential complexes, commercial structures, educational facilities, mixed-use office park projects, distribution and storage facilities. His knowledge of local construction practice and cost trends enable the project teams to develop the most economical structural system to meet the project’s functional requirements.
He has previously been involved in construction engineering. Experience in this capacity allows him to view projects from a practical, ‘hands on’ approach. Coupled with state-of-the-art design analysis and design capability, Joel’s practical experience helps him manage projects with an insight few others are able to attain.
