The College of Central Florida’s new 42,000-square-foot Center for Nursing is a gateway to the west side of the Ocala Campus. This two-story facility supports students and faculty with flexible classrooms, skills labs, medical simulation spaces, a student lounge, collaboration areas, study spaces, and faculty offices.
As Florida faces a growing demand for nurses, CF’s expanded nursing program provides the resources and training necessary to prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals. BBM Structural is proud to have provided the structural design, detailing, and construction administration for this $18 million project, working alongside our longtime collaborators and friends at HuntonBrady Architects and supporting the Ausley Construction team to bring this essential facility to life.
The building’s design integrates traditional collegiate brick with modern materials like glass and concrete, creating a distinctive façade. A prominent canopy marks the main entrance, welcoming students into a space designed for hands-on learning and collaboration.
