Mr. Burton is the principal charged with the day to day management of Administrative, Financial and Business Development operations of BBM. In addition, he regularly participates in the initial layout and analysis of many of BBM’s larger projects.

He has over 37 years of structural engineering and design experience and has managed a variety of project types throughout the United States and abroad, including correctional, educational, public safety / EOC, religious, resort and commercial. His proactive and hands-on management approach has earned him the utmost respect from clients and peers alike.

Mr. Burton is the product of three generations of General Contractors and understands the direct connection between the design and construction phases of a project and emphasizes the importance of clear and concise design and detailing. This straightforward approach has helped BBM to become an in-demand partner for Design / Build pursuits.

Combining his extensive design experience utilizing virtually all of the known structural systems in use today with a management style that energizes both the project and team members, Mr. Burton is recognized as a leader in the structural engineering profession.
